About Us
Flaking paint, water stains, and faded siding spread fast and turn into wood rot and bigger bills if you wait. At Tasman Painters in Nelson, we fix it right as your interior house painter, exterior house painter, and roof painter with careful prep, tight masking, and coatings matched to each surface so the finish holds up.
Our crew has strong skill from years of hands-on work, and we use methods that hold up in Nelson sun, rain, and humidity. We wash, scrape, sand, caulk, spot prime, and only paint when the surface is dry and sound, because rushed work and thin coats cause early peeling, blistering, and mildew.
You get clear written scope, neat job sites, daily updates, and work that starts and finishes on time, so you are not left guessing. We use proven primers and top line low odour paints, we’re licensed and insured, and we stand behind the work with a workmanship warranty that we honour.
We paint interiors with low volatile organic compound paints for healthier air and smooth walls, ceilings, trim, and cabinets that wipe clean and look right. We paint exteriors with full prep that includes washing, scraping, sanding, caulking, spot priming, and two finish coats so you avoid early peeling and swollen wood. We paint roofs with proper cleaning, rust treatment where needed, and the correct roof coating for tile, metal, or concrete so you get longer life and better water shedding. Skipping prep, painting in the wrong weather, using cheap paint, or applying too thin will lead to flashing, mildew, blistering, and coatings that fail before they should.
