About Us
Peeling trim, faded siding, and scuffed walls hurt curb appeal and can let water do damage. Tasman Painters solves that with careful prep and durable finishes as your interior house painter, exterior house painter, and roof painter in Nelson.
We have painted hundreds of homes in Nelson, so we know which products last on stucco, wood, fibre cement, metal, and tile. Our crew follows a step by step process that includes washing, scraping, sanding, repairs, priming, and two finish coats, and a working lead safe plan for homes built before 1978.
Most exteriors need new paint every five to ten years in our climate and high traffic interiors often need touch ups or repaint in three to five. You get clear pricing, daily updates, careful masking, and clean edges, and we use the right products for each surface such as 100 percent acrylic on siding, low odour paint inside, mildew resistant finishes in baths, and we plan around weather so your paint cures right.
Interior work includes walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and cabinets with low volatile organic compound paints for lower odour, smoother touch ups, and a finish that stands up to cleaning. Exterior and roof painting protect wood, stucco, brick, and metal from ultraviolet light and rain, stop small cracks and rust from spreading, can reduce heat on certain roofs with reflective coatings, and we plan around Nelson weather for correct dry times to avoid lap marks and adhesion problems.
Call or message Tasman Painters to book your House Painter Nelson project or ask for a clear quote, and let’s get you on the schedule while the weather is right. Tell us what you want painted and when, and we will make it simple.
