About Us
Peeling walls, faded siding, and a chalky roof make your place look tired and can let in moisture that ruins wood and drywall. Tasman Painters in Nelson fixes the cause with real prep and the right coatings as your interior house painter, exterior house painter, and roof painter.
Our crews are seasoned and methodical, with surface prep that includes washing, scraping, sanding, small repairs, caulking, and primers matched to wood, stucco, brick, and metal, and we follow lead safe practices in older homes. We avoid the classic mistakes that cause early failure like painting over damp surfaces, skipping primer on bare spots, spraying without back rolling, using interior paint outside, or rushing work when the temperature and dew point are wrong.
You get straight scheduling, tidy sites, and written pricing with a clear work plan and no surprise add ons. We are licensed and insured, we follow lead safe methods in homes built before 1978, we can use low odour low emission paints on request, and we stand behind the work with a written warranty and quick follow up if you need a touch up.
Interior painting covers walls, ceilings, trim, and cabinets with low odour paints, stain blocking where needed, careful sanding and caulking, and sharp lines that hold up to daily life. Exterior and roof work starts with washing and surface prep, scraping loose paint, feather sanding, spot priming bare wood or rust, flexible caulk, and two finish coats applied in the right temperature and dry time window, and roof coatings matched to tile, metal, or concrete so you get curb appeal, longer service life, and fewer leaks, because skipping prep, painting damp surfaces, or laying thin coats leads to peeling, blistering, and headaches later.
